The Takamine GB72CE Bass combines a mighty jumbo body with solid-top construction for powerful volume and robust acoustic sound. Its solid spruce top pairs with flame maple back and sides, while the Natural gloss finish adds a striking visual presence.
In addition, the slim neck and bound laurel fingerboard with a 16-inch radius provide a comfortable playing feel. An abalone rosette, pearl dot inlays, laurel headcap, and gold die-cast tuners complete the refined look.
Versatile TK-40B Electronics for Performance
Built for amplified versatility, the Takamine GB72CE Bass features the TK-40B preamp with an onboard chromatic tuner. Players can shape their sound with three-band EQ, gain controls, mid-shift control, a bass-boost switch, and an EQ bypass switch. Moreover, a dovetail neck joint, synthetic bone nut, and synthetic bone bridge saddle round out its performance-focused design.
