Above all, its 19 frets include pearloid top markers on frets 3, 5, 7, 10, and 12, while matching side markers appear on frets 5, 7, 10, and 12 for easy reference.
Similarly, the instrument is tuned g-c-C-e-a-A with high G and C, an unwound low C, E, A, and a wound low A for its distinctive 6-string configuration. Compared to many instruments, its 27.75-inch overall length, 12-inch body length, 6.5-inch upper bout, 9-inch lower bout, and 2.68-inch body height create a balanced tenor-sized design.
