What makes the KoAlana line different from KoAloha's Hawaii-made ukuleles?
KoAlana is KoAloha's entry-level line, built overseas (made in China) from laminate sapele rather than the solid Hawaiian koa used on KoAloha's Made-in-Hawaii models. It keeps KoAloha touches like the 5-point crown headstock, Musubi soundhole, and Abalone rosette at a lower price point, making it a practical step-up ukulele rather than a Hawaii-made collector's instrument.
