Description
Pono MGT-K Kalele Series Solid Mango Tenor Ukulele
The Pono MGT-K Mango Tenor Ukulele pairs a solid mango top with solid mango back and sides for an all-solid tenor build. Firstly, its satin finish complements the natural mango construction, while the mahogany neck provides a solid foundation for comfortable playing.
Furthermore, Pono uses merbau for both the fretboard and bridge, along with a TUSQ nut and saddle. In addition, a dual-action adjustable truss rod gives the instrument added setup flexibility. Finally, chrome Grover tuners and a Ko'olau Alohi string set complete the Pono MGT-K Kalele Series Mango Tenor Ukulele, which comes tuned G-C-E-A with a high G.
Tenor Size and Measurements
Secondly, the Pono MGT-K Kalele Series Mango Tenor Ukulele has a 26.5-inch overall length and a 17-inch scale length. Likewise, its 1.35-inch nut width and 2.19-inch saddle width define the playing dimensions. Meanwhile, the 12-inch body measures 3.25 inches deep for a clearly proportioned tenor design.
To clarify, the lower bout measures 9 inches wide, while the upper bout measures 6.5 inches. Above all, these specifications combine solid mango construction, quality components, and practical adjustability in a tenor ukulele built around Pono's Kalele Series design.
