Introducing the Guild D-55 GSR: A Musical Legacy Continues

At Terry Carter Music Store, customers can't help but get excited about the Guild D-55 GSR Acoustic Guitar. This iconic instrument has a rich history dating back to 1968 when it was first introduced as a special-order model.

Its popularity soared when it was famously played by Tommy Smothers on the Smothers Brothers Show in the late '60s. Now, it's available in a special edition, the GSR D-55 70th Anniversary Limited, and customers are in for a treat.

Exquisite Craftsmanship: The Guild D-55's Stunning Details

The Guild D-55 GSR boasts stunning craftsmanship and exquisite details. Its Madagascar Rosewood face is adorned with a mother-of-pearl Guild Peak and G-shield inlays on the fully bound headstock.

The top, made from aged Adirondack Spruce with hand-scalloped braces, features an ornate Abalone rosette and matching purfling inlay. This guitar exudes elegance.

Designed for Performance: Features That Shine

Crafted using traditional hide glue, the back and sides of the guitar are made from exotic Madagascar Rosewood, displaying beautiful figured grain lines. The Ebony fingerboard, mahogany neck, and Walnut center seam strip are a perfect combination. Guild's iconic Abalone/Pearl V-blocks and a commemorative "Winged G" at the 12th fret add a touch of sophistication.

With gold Gotoh open-gear tuners, Evo gold frets, and a dovetail neck joint, this guitar is designed for performance. Its hand-sprayed gloss nitrocellulose finish ensures minimum thickness and maximum resonance.

Each piece comes with a specially numbered and signed certificate of authenticity and a soundhole cut-out hand signed by the Guild USA build team. Plus, it's protected in Guild's premium humidified hard-shell case.

Limited Edition: Guild's 70th Anniversary Tribute Guitar

This special edition is limited to just 70 pieces worldwide, commemorating Guild's 70th anniversary from 1953 to 2023. At Terry Carter Music Store, customers have the chance to own a piece of musical history with the Guild D-55 GSR Acoustic Guitar. Don't miss out on this opportunity to elevate your music to the next level.
