The Ohana CK-450CL Cynthia Lin Concert Ukulele brings together beautiful solid koa construction, elegant details, and a design inspired by a beloved ukulele artist. With its warm character and comfortable concert size, this signature model offers something special for players of all levels.
Beautiful All-Solid Koa Construction
One of the biggest highlights of the CK-450CL is its all-solid koa body. Ohana uses solid koa for the top, back, and sides, giving this ukulele a rich appearance and a naturally resonant voice.
Additionally, koa is known for its warm, balanced tone and clear note definition. Its beautiful grain patterns also make each instrument visually unique. The semi-gloss finish allows the natural beauty of the wood to shine without an overly glossy appearance.
Cynthia Lin's Personal Touch
This ukulele celebrates Cynthia Lin with several thoughtful design details. Her signature appears on the headplate, while a beautiful floral abalone hibiscus inlay decorates the 12th fret.
Furthermore, an abalone soundhole rosette adds another touch of elegance. The rose gold deluxe open-geared tuners complement the koa body, creating a refined look that feels both traditional and modern.
Comfortable Concert Size and Playability
The CK-450CL features a 15-inch scale length and a comfortable concert-sized body. As a result, it offers a nice balance between portability and playing space.
Meanwhile, the black walnut fretboard provides a smooth playing surface. With 14 frets to the body and 19 frets total, players have plenty of room to explore melodies, chords, and fingerstyle arrangements.
The 1-3/8-inch nut width also provides a familiar feel for concert ukulele players. Whether practicing at home or performing, this instrument offers a comfortable playing experience.
Sound and Performance
The all-solid koa construction gives the CK-450CL a naturally lively and expressive character. Players can expect a balanced sound with warmth, clarity, and pleasing note separation.
Additionally, the D'Addario EJ87C Titanium strings contribute a bright, responsive sound. Combined with standard G-C-E-A tuning, they make this ukulele suitable for everything from gentle fingerpicking to upbeat strumming.
