The Trinity College TM-275 Celtic Mandola combines all-solid tonewoods with traditional styling and a comfortable 17-inch scale. Its solid Sitka spruce top features an oval soundhole and delivers the bright attack associated with Celtic instruments. Meanwhile, solid maple back and sides add crisp highs and resonant midrange tones. Together, these woods give the mandola a rich voice with plenty of clarity.
Comfortable 17-Inch Scale
The slim mahogany neck of the Trinity College TM-275 Celtic Mandola provides fast, comfortable playability. In addition, an adjustable truss rod allows for useful neck adjustments. The Santos rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth playing surface, while the 17-inch scale helps produce the deep bass tones that mandola players look for.
