I've been playing guitar for over 30 years. I started as a studio musician in Los Angeles, and now I run Terry Carter Music Store and a music education platform that has taught thousands of students how to play.
The GX18CE is a 3/4 size TakaMini with a full-size voice. It features custom-designed bracing and a solid spruce top in a scaled-down version of the famous Takamine NEX body style, with sapele back and sides, a laurel fingerboard, and a TP-4T preamp with tuner.

What does 3/4 size mean on the GX18CE?
The GX18CE has a 570 mm (22.44 in) scale length and a 42 mm (1.65 in) nut, a smaller guitar than a full-size Takamine with a 644 mm (25.35 in) scale, which makes it easier to carry and to play for smaller hands.
