Description
Takamine EF450C TT BB NEX Cutaway Thermal Top Acoustic-Electric Guitar with a solid thermal spruce top, flame maple back and sides, a maple neck, an ebony fingerboard, and a gloss transparent blackburst finish.
I've been playing guitar for over 30 years. I started as a studio musician in Los Angeles, and now I run Terry Carter Music Store and a music education platform that has taught thousands of students how to play.
This beautiful NEX model is an addition to Takamine's TT Series of Thermal Top acoustics. The spruce top is treated with high heat, modifying the resins and sugars in the wood, which imparts a played-in vintage tone and feel that is surprising in a brand new instrument. The EF450C TT is a tastefully ornate instrument with Grass Flower inlays made from hundreds of pieces of abalone and pearl, a maple neck with an ebony fingerboard, and flamed maple back and sides that give it a bold, articulate voice.
