Rover RB-20T Student 4-String Openback Tenor Banjo
The Rover RB-20T Openback Tenor Banjo combines traditional tenor specifications with a lightweight, player-friendly design. Its standard 11-inch composite rim features openback construction for easy portability. In addition, the metallic gun-grey finish gives the instrument a clean, modern appearance. It is designed as an accessible choice for players beginning their journey with the four-string tenor banjo.
Fast and Comfortable Mahogany Neck
The mahogany neck features a traditional 22 1/4-inch scale length for comfortable chording and quick movement across the fretboard. Meanwhile, the rosewood fingerboard includes dot position markers for easy visual reference. Carefully shaped and polished frets help provide smooth, comfortable action. Furthermore, an adjustable truss rod allows for neck adjustments, while F-2000 open-geared guitar-style tuners provide accurate tuning.
Traditional C-G-D-A Tenor Setup
The Rover RB-20T Openback Tenor Banjo comes in traditional C-G-D-A tuning. Its hardware includes a grooved tension hoop and 24 P-44 flat hooks and nuts for head attachment. Additionally, a deluxe P-101 Vega-style armrest provides a comfortable playing surface. The traditional P-115 No-Knot tailpiece completes the setup. Overall, the Rover RB-20T Banjo offers classic tenor features in a lightweight design suited to developing players.
