Description
Jet JS-407 MBK R Matte Black Solid Body Electric Guitar with a roasted poplar body, a Canadian roasted maple neck, and a rosewood fretboard.
I've been playing guitar for over 30 years. I started as a studio musician in Los Angeles, and now I run Terry Carter Music Store and a music education platform that has taught thousands of students how to play.
The Jet JS-407 Electric Guitar combines a roasted poplar body with a Canadian roasted maple neck for a modern, streamlined design. Its Modern C neck shape pairs with a rosewood fretboard, 9.5-inch radius, and 26.5-inch scale length. In addition, 24 frets provide plenty of room across the fingerboard, while the 1.65-inch nut width keeps the neck comfortable and accessible. A double-action truss rod also allows for precise neck adjustment.
The Jet JS-407 Electric Guitar features an HH ceramic pickup configuration with black pickup covers for a bold, coordinated appearance. A fixed bridge provides a straightforward setup, while the single volume control keeps operation simple. Black hardware completes the guitar's clean aesthetic and complements the pickup covers. The nut uses bone or polymer fibre on models produced since 2025, adding another practical detail to this modern electric guitar design.
