Description

A True Performer’s Violin

The Cremona SV-800 Premier Artist Violin is, above all, designed for musicians who want both beauty and exceptional sound. Given that it features a solid spruce top and solid flamed maple back and sides, the tone is both rich and warm.

Furthermore, the dark amber oil finish and inlaid purfling add a level of craftsmanship that truly stands out. Compared to other violins, this one offers a polished boxwood tailpiece and fittings, which enhance both style and durability. And then, with the J. LaSalle LB-31 Brazilwood Bow and white horsehair, every note sings with precision.

A Complete Package for Serious Players

This Cremona SV-800 Premier Artist Violin is, in fact, built for those who take their playing seriously. Because it comes with an African ebony fingerboard, an Aubert VB-7 bridge, and Stradivarius chin rest, the playability is smooth and comfortable.

Likewise, the premium steel strings provide both stability and clear articulation, so tuning in G-D-A-E stays reliable. In addition, the solid flamed maple neck with an oiled finish allows for easy hand movement during every performance. Finally, with the Travelite TL-33/V Oblong Case included, you can take this masterpiece anywhere while keeping it safe.

What size player is a 4/4 violin for?

A 4/4 violin generally suits most players from around 11 years old upward, including adults, with an arm length of roughly 23 inches (58 cm) or more. Measure from the side of the neck, along the outstretched arm, to the middle of the palm. Sizing follows the player's reach rather than age alone, so measure before choosing.

If a measurement falls between two sizes, the smaller size is usually the safer choice — an oversized instrument makes good left-hand technique harder to learn.

Violin sizes run, smallest to largest: 1/32, 1/16, 1/10, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 4/4 (full size).

This is the largest size. The next size down is a 3/4 violin.
