Description
Blueridge BR-140MT Historic Craftsman Solid Mahogany Tenor Acoustic Guitar with a solid Mahogany top, solid Mahogany back and sides, East Indian Rosewood fretboard, and a high gloss finish.
I've been playing guitar for over 30 years. I started as a studio musician in Los Angeles, and now I run Terry Carter Music Store and a music education platform that has taught thousands of students how to play.
The Blueridge BR-140MT Historic Craftsman Tenor Guitar delivers rich acoustic tone because it features a solid mahogany top paired with solid mahogany back and sides. Firstly, this all-mahogany construction creates a warm, focused voice that players appreciate for clarity and balance. In fact, the forward-shifted X scalloped bracing enhances resonance, so every note responds with impressive projection. Secondly, the solid mahogany neck supports stability and comfort, while the East Indian rosewood fretboard adds a smooth playing feel.
The Blueridge BR-140MT Tenor Guitar offers a comfortable 22.9" scale length, so players can enjoy familiar tenor guitar spacing with smooth fret access. Above all, the 1.28" nut width allows precise fretting, and it supports clean chord transitions across the neck. Similarly, nickel-plated tuners provide reliable tuning stability, so the BR-140MT holds its tuning, whether it is tuned D-G-B-E like a baritone ukulele or C-G-D-A in standard tenor guitar tuning, on the same strings.
