The ukulele itself is a thing of beauty, featuring a vintage burst flame maple veneer top with rich mahogany body and neck. The ukulele features a bound fretboard, cream binding, hardtail fixed bridge, and dual humbucker pickups each with its own set of controls for volume and tone, plus a three way switch. With its classic looks and fantastic sound, you will be ready to rock in any venue, as well as to add any effect pedals, or stompboxes to your final amplified sound. The Flight Centurion, Vintage Burst, Solid Body Electric Ukulele features a mahogany solid body with a vintage gold burst flame maple veneer top. The ukulele looks like it caught a sunrise. You may spend as much time looking at and appreciating the looks of this ukulele as you do playing it!
The Flight Centurion features a real bone nut, zero fret, and hard tail fixed bridge, to provide consistent string spacing, good action, and to help to generate a wonderful core tone.
The Flight Centurion includes a bound fretboard and dual strap buttons, making it easy to hold and comfortable to play the instrument.
The Flight Centurion features two humbucker pickups in a HH configuration, plus a three-way switch. As a result, as you play, you can use one humbucker or the other, or both humbuckers to produce the sound you want. Each humbucker has its own vintage volume and tone control.
As a final touch, the Flight Centurion features a headstock with a gloss black veneer, abalone Flight logo, and closed geared tuners. The headstock is the perfect addition to the classically styled ukulele
For the Rock Series, Flight has introduced a new shade of gig bag: light blue. The gig bag is padded with 15mm of padding, with a padded handle and front pocket, keeping your solid body electric ukulele safe during your travels.
