The Kamaka HF-3D features a Deluxe Curly Koa, Gloss Finish, Rope Rosette & Purfling, Ebony Fretboard, Binding, Bridge, & Headplate, and Premium Geared Schaller Tuners.

I haven't played that many Kamaka's before becoming a dealer but when I got to play the HF-3D Koa Tenor for the first time, I was blown away.
From the second you hold the Kamaka case you can see the quality. The case is a beautiful premium hard shell with their logo right on it.
When you open up the case and see this amazing ukulele sitting against the blue lining of the case you know that there is something special going on.
Again, just simply holding your new Kamaka ukulele for the first time will be a spiritual moment.
Then when you play it, the tone that explodes from the soundboard is clear, resonate, and suburb. The lush Hawaiian Koa wood has a balanced tone that is full but also radiates clarity.
I'm am super impressed with Kamaka and they are even better than what you heard about them.
