Kanile'a is unique in making these Super Tenor Ukuleles. With the wider body and the wider lower bout they help give this ukulele a bigger and fuller sound. If you like a bigger bodied instrument and sound with some extra bass response the Kanile'a Super Tenor "Kaimana" is going to serve you well.
The Hawaiian Koa wood on this Super Tenor is stunning. Honestly it looks so much more spectacular in person then it does in the photos. The rich and dark straight grain of this Koa will make you do a double take, mixed in with the subtle but powerful stripe of sapwood running down the center. Sapwood is the outer ring of the koa tree that is white instead of the darker reddish brown you normally see in koa.
This will be a great ukulele to add to your quiver whether this is your first of your 20th ukulele.
