Amazing sound and price for an all solid Acacia ukulele. When it comes to one of the boldest sounding and looking tone woods in the world, look no further than acacia wood. Acacia is in the same family as Koa wood but because it grows more abundantly than Koa it's production in ukuleles is more affordable. Acacia wood has beautiful brown and red hues that are complemented by bold dark lines. These Islander ukes are part of the POHAKU line and are topped off with a herringbone rosette and purfling with black binding.
With each Islander sold, Kanilea will plant a koa tree to help save and preserve this wonderful and amazing species of wood for generations to come.
