Its solid African Mahogany body complements a Spruce top, marrying tradition with modernity. Mahogany's warmth blends with Spruce's brightness for a balanced, resonant sound that truly sings. This uke is a work of art with striking blue pearloid accents, square offset fretboard markers, and a captivating 'moonburst' finish.
Enchanting Rosewood Beauty with Enhanced Sound
Firstly, similar to several Flight Royal Series models from 2020 onward, the Nighthawk variant boasts a beautiful chocolatey Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Throughout history, rosewood has been a favored hardwood for stringed instruments, contributing warmth to the instrument's tone and reducing sharp high frequencies.

Secondly, the Nighthawk boasts a rosewood bridge, a real bone nut, and a compensated saddle for intonation. Its pin bridge system keeps strings aligned and efficiently transfers vibrations to the spruce soundboard.
We chose Worth Browns for a balanced tone with clarity and warmth, perfectly matching the uke. To enhance its look, we added a stylish dark burst, our "moonburst," a cooler twist on the classic sunburst.
Pearloid Rosette, Blue Cutaway, and Expert Craftsmanship
The striking pearloid rosette and vibrant blue cutaway and binding bring a touch of elegance to this ukulele. Even Flight's logo shines in pearloid blue! The unique square, off-set fret markers give it a contemporary flair. This ukulele craves attention, far from shy.
Incorporating the beloved scalloped cutaway from the Spirit, Mustang, and Victoria models was a deliberate choice. This ingenious design enhances fret access without sacrificing volume or tone, a common issue with full cutaways. It also highlights our luthiers' exceptional craftsmanship and expertise.
Enhanced Sound and Sleek Design
The active pickup controls sit under the sound hole, eliminating the need for side cavities. Ukuleles with active pickups include an "A" in their model number.
Their iconic headstock is both bold and innovative, adding a unique touch to traditional slotted headstocks. Its rounded, lightweight design stands out.
Flight's Royal series ukuleles include a luxurious red gig bag with a hint of purple. This regal color complements the series. The 20mm padding provides excellent uke protection.
