The very first in the line of Carter Instruments and what a better way to start than with this beautiful Fiesta Red electric guitar.
A true vintage all original circa 1975-1976 Fender Stratocaster in Olympic White with tremolo. This is one of the classic colors you want and this one has the tremolo bridge unlike so many of the Strats from this era that had hardtails.
Stratocasters have so much tradition in them being played by guitar greats such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ritchie Blackmore, Rory Gallagher, David Gilmour, George Harrison and countless others.
1976 stamped Flat Pole Grey Bottom Pickups (original) and 1975-1976 Dated Pots.
The Serial Number on the Neck Plate says 1974 and the Neck Stamp says 1975. It was common for Fender to mix parts from different years.
The body and neck are in incredible condition for a guitar is that almost 50 years old. There is light wear throughout and there was a gash on the back which has been repaired and is solid.
Original Body, Neck, Tuners, Pickguard, Knobs, Pickup Covers, Back Plate, Bridge, 3 Screw Neck Plate, and Strap Buttons.
Non-Original parts include the Electronics (the old wiring was a mess and not working properly), New Period Correct Pickups - Grey Bottom with Alnico-V Non-Staggered Pole Pieces, New Stainless Steel Frets, New Tremolo Arm, and Roadrunner Hardshell Case.
I assure you that this player grade instrument plays and sounds better now then it did in 1974-1975. The new pickups and wiring make it sound amazing and the new frets make it easy to play.
This guitar was purchased off Reverb and then our repair techs fully inspected, took apart, and setup.
Early to Mid 1970's Strats are the latest of the Vintage Fender Guitars that are being sought after and are continuing going up in price.
