I have waited over 6 months for this Black Label masterpiece to make it to me. I can also send you the photos that were taken along this Black Label's journey.

This is a Slimline Tenor with an LR Baggs 5.0 installed. I honestly don't know how many Black Label Slimlines even exist. I'll tell you one thing, it's not a lot.

Plus with this incredible black and gray wash stain with the combination of the Solid Mango Top and Solid Flamed Maple sides and back, you are in for a special treat.

You may be saying, I desperately want a Black Label but I want an all koa one. That's is totally understandable, as Koa is the most common wood used on Hawaiian Ukuleles, including the Black Labels. I feel the same way, although the sound and feel of this Black Label "Scorched Embers" has blown me away. Even the video I get goose bumps all over because of sheer beauty of this tenor slimline ukulele. 

Note that this may be the only KoAloha Black Label in 2020 as they are focusing on their 25 Year Silver Anniversaires Models.

Most KoAloha Black Labels are custom built to the exact specifications of the customer ordering it, but this original Black Label was created and realized by Gris, who I call the "Magic Man." Gris is the genius that hand builds all the Black Labels.

This is only the 2nd Black Label that I have had here at store.ukelikethepros.com and this one did not disappoint. 

This one is made of stunning mango top and flamed maple sides and back and stained with the KoAloha Black and Gray wash stain. The more you look at this instrument at different angles and different light, the more amazing the wood grain looks. I only hope that the video and photos do this stunning instrument justice.

The other noticeable thing that jumps out at you is the beautiful orange stained abalone rosette, purfling, fret markers, and headstock logo. 

The beautiful curly koa binding brings some subtle accents to the dark colors of the mango and flamed maple. 

The sound is absolutely spectacular. Due to the quality of the craftsmanship and the wood, the sound is focused, warm, and tight sounding. Every note and tone is perfectly balanced to create a symphony of overtones and resonance.

The KoAloha KTM-00 koa ukuleles and the KTM-25 Silver Anniversaires are great instruments but this custom Black Label is like something I have never seen or heard before.

The sound is sweeter than any other ukulele you'll hear.

As you see and hear in the video the sound is balanced not matter if your strumming chords, fingerpicking or doing things up the neck. It holds each note with clarity and brilliance.

The Black Labels have a slightly smaller tenor body with a bigger ebony bridge, the Black Label logo on the headstock, and the ultra premium hip-shot geared tuners.

This is a one of a kind instrument that only comes around every so often and right now it can be the star of any ukulele collection.
