This Kala Elite ukulele is made of Solid Sitka Spruce top and Solid Myrtle sides and back. This is a players dream. Talk about TONE, TONE, and MORE TONE. The combination of the crispness and the projection of the Sitka Spruce top mixed with the vibrate tones of the Myrtle will make your notes sing off this ukulele.
Sitka Spruce is a wonderfully simple looking wood with powerful tone. Myrtle wood makes a beautiful tone wood with vibrate tone, rich mid-range, great projection, and a natural organic resonance. Myrtle wood comes from Southwestern Oregon and Northwestern California.
As the name implies these XL super tenors have a HUGE sound mixed with the longer neck to give you plenty of room for your hands.
